We just lost one of the greatest representatives of humanistic photography after the war.
As Edouard Boubat, Robert Doisneau, Jacques Rene, Willy Ronis has published reports in black and white in magazines (Look, Time, Life). He joined the Rapho agency after the war.
Near Communist Party, he addressed social issues by showing the simple and happy life of ordinary people but also the social struggles and strikes. (Report in the Front Populaire)
It is part of Group XV to defend photography as an art form.
Willy Ronis was a faithful photo meeting in Arles this year that he spent a retrospective exhibition.
This year he was there to autograph books and speak with kindness, simplicity, modesty which characterized him, to tell anecdotes of his long life as a photographer with an incredible memory.
I had the chance to meet with a group of school students at the International Biennial of the Image Nancy is a precious memory.
Today just disappeared in a large photography who believed in man.

Marie-Pierre Charpentier Rinck and Patrick have teamed up to exhibit at the Gallery Ovadia, Nancy, from August 21 to 30. They are both artists who draw their inspiration from the elements constituting the universe: earth, plant world, trees and forests, not forgetting that it is a living world inhabited by fairies and genies. But the works on show are scrupulous, well away from the fable and folklore that feed the small screens. That there is much to say in the same fidelity to the things of the world that we are food for body and mind. And that love, as a patient know-how required to produce these incredible songs of the earth met the fire in the crucible of the ceramist;-mentioned trees removed in the presence of a vast forest that is, dreams, evidence and CElement rivalry in ochres, of red and blue.

In April 2009, I presented to Marie-Pierre Rink as part of the premiere of "Without Roof With You" and as part of its natural garden.
This exhibition was an opportunity to see for the first time these paintings off the walls of the studio and a unique way.
My work moved and interacted with the natural elements of this garden. It seemed to me that the place served as a model or that my paintings have sprouted here.

Exposure "Patrick Charpentier ± Simon Laval" offers themed work environment through two different artistic practices: painting and photography.
The two artists who are friends, share the same interest in nature and the creative potential that follows. But if everyone knows the work of the respective other, or even inspired by the work of the other, never do their work gathered in one place. Also through this exhibition, they had the will to bring together their works.
At this exhibition, all paintings or photographs can be exposed, must be viewed in isolation, independent of other works presented. They are implemented.
However, gradually, a dialogue moved between a painting and a photograph in the form of a formal similarity, the presence of a single element of a composition identical even ... but the viewer to perceive or to create more or less (±) the elements of a possible relationship, possible.

This Saturday opening at the Park House Munster Melody was very pleased that his models have become much more to it than that!
