We just lost one of the greatest representatives of humanistic photography after the war.
As Edouard Boubat, Robert Doisneau, Jacques Rene, Willy Ronis has published reports in black and white in magazines (Look, Time, Life). He joined the Rapho agency after the war.
Near Communist Party, he addressed social issues by showing the simple and happy life of ordinary people but also the social struggles and strikes. (Report in the Front Populaire)

Willy Ronis was a faithful photo meeting in Arles this year that he spent a retrospective exhibition.
This year he was there to autograph books and speak with kindness, simplicity, modesty which characterized him, to tell anecdotes of his long life as a photographer with an incredible memory.

Exposure "Patrick Charpentier ± Simon Laval" offers themed work environment through two different artistic practices: painting and photography.
The two artists who are friends, share the same interest in nature and the creative potential that follows. But if everyone knows the work of the respective other, or even inspired by the work of the other, never do their work gathered in one place.
