In a response to an oral question on "the reality of the teaching of the Amazigh language," presented by the Group of the Alliance of Democratic Forces and progressives in the House of Representatives, Ms. Labib added that these figures show that remarkable progress has been made in teaching the language, since this material was programmed from 2003-2004 and taught in 317 schools.
The Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Training managers and Scientific Research has taken a series of measures on organization, management and legislation related primarily to basic and continuing training Amazigh, "she insisted.
In this context, the Secretary of State stressed that the ministry has focused, in partnership with the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM), the training continues to face constraints related to the human element, and this through the publication of a series of memorandums of organization and leadership that have contributed significantly to expanding the network of teaching Tamazight language.
Ms. Labib added that more than 10,000 people have benefited from continuing education courses during the past six years, including 9600 teachers, 267 directors, 518 inspectors and 114 teachers training centers.
In the same vein, Secretary of State reiterated that continuing education programs are divided into three parts relating to the civilization and culture Amazigh language skills and their socio-linguistic Also the general guidelines regarding the management of language teaching and pedagogical approaches to make them effective.
Ms. Labib said that the number of executives who will be responsible for training on the subject in the future since 2007 has reached approximately 785 students in Agadir, Fez and Oujda.
University Ibn Zuhr Agadir offers master's degrees in the Amazigh language and culture, she noted, adding that 28 students received their diplomas in 2007 me and a second group of 30 others in 2009, while 78 others continue their studies (master) for the current academic year.
Regarding training centers, Ms. Labib stressed the ministerial decision concerning the delimitation of the system of study and examinations for graduates of the center of my teachers and which provides, she said, the integration of language and culture Amazigh in the training program came into effect since the 2006-2007 school year, knowing that their 80 hours are spent annually, like other languages.
